About

Founded in 2020 by Morehead Cain Scholar Lydia Owens, the NCSSM Public Health Association was created with the goal of promoting public health education, service, and advocacy within the NCSSM and Durham communities. Keeping with its commitment to address critical public health issues, the association has undertaken numerous projects aimed at improving both the school and the wider community. We are excited to continue to grow the association and expand our reach within NCSSM, the Triangle, and the state of North Carolina.
