This week in our sensory table, we had a delightful experience with colorful goldfish! Here are some highlights:

• Color Sorting Activity:

  • The children had fun catching different colored goldfish and sorting them into their respective tanks—blue goldfish into the blue tank, yellow into the yellow tank, and so on.

  • This activity not only enhances their color recognition skills but also aligns with the Illinois preschool standards.

• Ordering Goldfish:

  • We also practiced some counting skills by ordering a specific number of goldfish from the pet store: two red, three blue, and more.

  • The children engaged in a fun and interactive way to learn through play!

The sensory table is proving to be a wonderful space for exploration and learning!
