We had a wonderful week finishing our pumpkin unit! Highlights:
Students discovered that pumpkins are for so much more than jack-o’-lanterns — they can make delicious treats like pumpkin pie, cake, cookies, and pudding.
Our pumpkin pudding was a big hit — many children tried a new taste and celebrated being brave with foods.
We learned pumpkins have seeds that you can eat, and some students enjoyed tasting roasted seeds.
We took a fall walk and were amazed by the changing season — colors everywhere! The favorite moment for many was playing in piles of leaves.
These joyful, hands-on experiences helped students explore science, sensory learning, and seasonal changes. Thank you for encouraging their curiosity!
