College in High School / Dual Enrollment
Common question I hear is what is the difference between College in High School and Dual Enrollment.
*College in High School - Classes that are taught at NC by NC instructors that were approved by a post secondary institution. This coursework will meet high school graduation requirements.
*Dual Enrollment - Students either physically attending a post secondary institution or completing online courses taught by professors at the post secondary institution. Dual Enrollment does not meet any high school graduation requirements and is typically completed outside normal school hours.

** If you plan on taking classes at a Post Secondary School, please make sure you don't schedule a course you have already taken!
