Ways to Use ThingLink for Teaching and Learning

• Create and publish an interactive graphic for students to explore prior to class to provide them with background knowledge.

• Students can revisit the activity as needed for reteaching and review.

• Students can create their own interactive images.

  • TIP: If you intend on assigning your students a project using Thinglink, we recommend you allow them to use a personal email (using their school password) when signing up for a Thinglink account. When Thinglink asks what type of account they would like to create, please have students choose "Marketing & Editorial" account. When prompted to choose what area in Marketing & Editorial, students should select "Other." If the students sign up using their school Gmail account, Thinglink will automatically categorize them as students. Thinglink will keep trying to ask the students for a teacher's class code, which likely will not exist since the platform is very useful under the free features.

  • Teachers MAY sign up under an Education account and choose "Teacher" to get a FREE account. Teachers on free accounts cannot invite students to a class
