Ways to Use ThingLink for Teaching and Learning
Create and publish an interactive graphic for students to explore prior to class to provide them with background knowledge.
Students can revisit the activity as needed for reteaching and review.
Students can create their own interactive images.
TIP: If you intend on assigning your students a project using Thinglink, we recommend you allow them to use a personal email (using their school password) when signing up for a Thinglink account. When Thinglink asks what type of account they would like to create, please have students choose "Marketing & Editorial" account. When prompted to choose what area in Marketing & Editorial, students should select "Other." If the students sign up using their school Gmail account, Thinglink will automatically categorize them as students. Thinglink will keep trying to ask the students for a teacher's class code, which likely will not exist since the platform is very useful under the free features.
Teachers MAY sign up under an Education account and choose "Teacher" to get a FREE account. Teachers on free accounts cannot invite students to a class
