Screencastify in the Classroom

Teachers can record themselves to create a flipped classroom, explain difficult concepts, recap the day's main objectives, demonstrate an idea, or give students audio or video feedback on their work. They can communicate with parents as well, explaining procedures or bringing a personal touch to the traditional classroom newsletter.

Please watch the brief video to the right. After you have gotten a good grasp on what Screencastify can do for you in your classroom, complete the following to earn your badge!

Download the Screencastify Chrome Extension from the Chrome Web Store.
Record a video lesson for your students.
- Don't know where to begin? Maybe do one of the following:
  - Record a brief intro to a new unit/lesson.
  - Demonstrate an online task you're asking of your students in a lesson.
  - Provide feedback to a student(s) using this tool.
Choose to record either your entire desktop or tab using your webcam.
Once complete, either share your video's shareable link or download it as a video file. Upload the file or submit the shareable link to the video to the Google Form provided below.
