What is Nearpod?

Nearpod's platform enables teachers to facilitate interactive activities, connect students through collaborative discussions, and gain instant insight into student learning through formative assessments.

- Nearpod’s Google Chrome extension for Google Classroom allows teachers to create Nearpod Assignments within Classroom. Teachers will have the ability to access their Nearpod Library and assign Live and Student-Paced lessons directly to Google Classroom. This extension is free, easy-to-use, and available to users of any subscription type.

The Tasks

Create a Nearpod account (if you don't already have one) at https://nearpod.com/.
If you are new to Nearpod, review some of the videos offered by them by clicking HERE.
Ideas for how to use Nearpod in the classroom: presentation delivery, distributing resources, live and formative assessments, ongoing assessments, self assessments, modeling, open ended tasks, homework, and sharing resources.
Create or upload a presentation.
Use presentation to teach content and include a minimum of one student response slide.
Submit a screenshot of student responses.
Upload the screenshot and link to your Nearpod to the Google Form below.
