Watch the video from Richard Byrne on the left. He will walk you through the platform and give you a quick overview of what to expect.
Go to the Knowt (https://knowt.io/teachers/) website and sign up for a free account. You may sign in with Google to make the process much easier!
Once you've joined the website, we highly recommend you take the very brief tour to learn your way around a little more.
Choose something you use in class to import into Knowt (ie - class notes, general intro information on a unit or topic, etc.).
Alternatively, you may create something from scratch inside Knowt if you would prefer to work that way.
Create a set of flashcards from the document you imported or created.
Take a screenshot* of your flashcards in action and submit the image to the Google Form below.
Turn your document you imported or created in Knowt into a quiz. (Tip: you must have a class created in Knowt before you can create a quiz.)
Be sure you publish your quiz and then share the direct link to the quiz in the shareable link field via the Google Form below.
*Instructions for taking screenshots on a Chromebook:
Full screen screenshot: Ctrl+windows shift button (looks like a rectangle with two lines next to it; above the 6 key).
Partial screenshot: Ctrl+Shift+windows shift button (looks like a rectangle with two lines next to it; above the 6 key). Click and drag around the area you'd like to grab.
Screenshots will be sent to your Downloads file (small blue circular icon with a file folder inside found in the apps menu -- click the small circle icon in far bottom left corner of Chromebook screen to find the Downloads file).
Provide the screenshot of your Knowt flashcards and the direct link to your Knowt quiz in the Google Form below.
