Kahoot is a game-based formative assessment website that allows students to answer questions and compete for high scores. Recently, Kahoot added groups as an option when playing a game of Kahoot, which allows competition between teams of students. Once completed, Kahoot provides a detailed report of each student's achievement.

English - Use Kahoot to get students engaged in your class novel. Post questions about characters, motives, themes, etc. to get students talking about the book.
Math - Practice multiplication tables by posting multiplication problems as the questions and four possible answer choices. Whoever answers the questions quickly and correctly has obviously memorized those multiplication charts!
Science - Make vocabulary practice more fun by posting vocabulary words as the questions and possible definitions as the answer choices.
Social Studies - Use Kahoot to review the 50 states! Post an image of a state with four answer choices and see how well students are learning each state.
