GOOGLE CLASSROOM - Level 1

Teachers can create classes, distribute assignments, communicate, and stay organized, all in one place.

Teachers can set up a class, invite students and co-teachers. In the class stream, they then share information—assignments, announcements, and questions.
Students can see assignments on the To-do page, in the class stream, or on the class calendar.
All class materials are automatically filed into Google Drive folders.
Topics can be utilized to create organization within the Classwork tab.
Classroom works with Google Docs, Calendar, Gmail, Drive, and Forms.

The Tasks

Please watch the video to the right to become familiarized with Google Classroom features.

Go to classroom.google.com.
Set up your class(es).
Take a screenshot* of your Google Classroom dashboard page (where all your G. Classroom tiles are) to show your new class(es).
Invite at least one "student" to a class (you may use nchsedtech@ncsd.k12.mo.us and some colleagues).
Go to your Gear icon and review the rules for your class.
Take a screenshot of your People tab in Classroom.
Schedule an Assignment with a link, file, YouTube video, or something from Google Drive. Assign a Topic, set points, and set a due date.
Create a class Material to be part of your Classwork page. These can be such items as a class syllabus, school handbook, etc.
Take a screenshot of your Classwork tab to show your posted Material.
Upload all screenshots to the Google Form below.
