Watch the video that demonstrates the Creative Commons extension located to the right.
Please note in the video the difference of locating an image that requires source attribution and those that are in the public domain.
Refer to the "Extra Resources" area under the video for more options to become acquainted with the CC Search Extension.
Go to the Chrome Web Store and get the Creative Commons Search Chrome Extension linked here.
Use your new Creative Commons extension in some capacity either for a class document or one unrelated to school. Locate the following:
A picture that requires attribution. This may be a picture you insert into a Google Doc, Google Slide (which might be easier, by the way), or Google Drawing.
Please take a screenshot* of your photo search using the CC extension.
Insert your picture into your document along with the source attribution.
A picture that is in the public domain. This may be a picture you insert into the same document as the one you used/created for the step above.
Take a screenshot* of your CC search using the public domain filter.
Insert your picture into your document.
Please get your shareable link (Anyone on the internet with the link can view) to your document you created. Paste that link in the shareable link field in the Google Form below.
Upload your screenshots to the file upload button in the Google Form, also.
*Instructions for taking screenshots on a Chromebook:
Full screen screenshot: Ctrl+windows shift button (looks like a rectangle with two lines next to it; above the 6 key).
Partial screenshot: Ctrl+Shift+windows shift button (looks like a rectangle with two lines next to it; above the 6 key). Click and drag around the area you'd like to grab.
Screenshots will be sent to your Downloads file (small blue circular icon with a file folder inside found in the apps menu -- click the small circle icon in far bottom left corner of Chromebook screen to find the Downloads file).
Please follow step #3 above and follow all of its processes carefully. Submit all as directed in the Google Form below.
