Chromebook 101

Learn the ins and outs of maneuvering around a Chromebook. Learn button shortcuts, the many uses of the touchpad, and other tips/tricks.

Teachers can set the Chromebook to work offline.
Teachers can screenshot a full screen or a particular section of the screen.
Teachers can pin apps that they use frequently to the Chromebook shelf.
Teachers will use the different functions of the trackpad.

The Tasks

There are several videos to the right that will walk you through various parts of the Chromebook. Please watch all of the videos to become familiarized with the Chromebook features.

Set up your Chromebook to work offline.
Check out the Search function of the Chromebook.
Take a screenshot* of the full screen and a particular section of the screen. Email these images to nchsedtech@ncsd.k12.mo.us.
Pin a few of your favorite apps to your shelf.
Take a look at the virtual keyboard and what it has to offer.
