Read a book! Read as many as you want and whatever you want to read, but you must read at least one book in June.
Use the Middle School Library summer reading list for inspiration!
Echo by Pam Munoz Ryan
Available in the library & on Sora
As you read, you are strongly encouraged to annotate and develop brief chapter summaries that capture the most important events in each chapter. These summaries can be recorded on post-it notes or written directly in the book. If you prefer to write your summaries in a notebook, that is also acceptable. Your notes will not be collected but know that they will serve you well during our literary discussions and writing work in September.
