The library's instructional portal - our virtual companion to our face-to-face instruction
We submit updates every two weeks. These are linked to our principal's weekly updates.

Notice that at the top of each page on the library website is an invitation to TEXT the library (615-669- 6670). That's right! We offer a text support service to students (and teachers use it, too) when they are doing research. Sometimes students ask: What are the username and password for the database page? Other times, their questions are more academic than utilitarian. Some students ask for help with building citations, others with generating keywords for search terms or crafting their research question, and still others with evaluating sources they have found. Students writing about their research text for help with writing their thesis statements. Clearly this service is a useful way for students to get the help they need while they are working. For us, we can glean from the content of their text messages where we need to extend our instruction in order to better meet the needs of our students. It's a win-win service!
