NCPS Operating Level: Yellow — Medium Community Spread. The NPCS uses the CDC metrics to determine community spread levels: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/covid-by-county.html .

According to the CDC, in times of "Medium Community Spread"

- If you are at high risk for severe illness, talk to your healthcare provider about whether you need to wear a mask and take other precautions
- Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines
- Get tested if you have symptoms

Definition: Isolation: Individuals with signs or symptoms of COVID-19, or a positive test, should stay home until no longer infectious for at least 5 days with symptoms resolving and masks worn on days 6-10 while around others.

• If you don’t feel well, please do not come to school, practice, or anything else! If you have COVID-19 symptoms, please take a test. Tests are available at each school through the nurse's office.

• Please notify the school of positive cases so we can support your family and keep track of local metrics.
