We launched at the GREENSBORO ODYSSEY event the afternoon of October 12th.
Downtown Greensboro just after launch
This was a 600g cell with a 900g payload of two video cameras. Maximum recorded height was 95997 feet. (APRS max 95559ft)
We got video of the moon and lots of images at different heights of a solar "glory".
Still from one of the cameras pointed up during the burst of the cell.
We got full video from both cameras from launch to landing. Recovery was a lot of fun. There was a lone tree out in a pasture, so of course that's where it decided to land.
Very interesting visualization of the flight. Note the spike at high altitude.
Here is a close up of that spike and its ground track. Go home balloon, you're drunk !
