Digital Photography is a course designed for students who are seriously interested in photography and the applications it has as an art form. Assignments are intended to be practical representations of mastery in the concept, composition and executions of the students’ ideas.
Students will be required to understand the operations of a camera, how to compose an image, the notable photographers throughout history, and careers related to photography. Course content includes Design in Photography, Photography Techniques, and Photography Mixed Media.
Emphasis will be placed on the development of learning compositional techniques that require direct observation of personal surroundings and environment. These core assignments will require time spent well beyond the class period.
