For the past 12 years I have been the SGA adviser or helped out in some capacity at Pinecrest High School. During this time I have helped students become leaders in organizing the homecoming dance, pep rallies, Oktoberfest, student assemblies, etc. I have helped the students raise over $10,000 a year to fund different student activities and club competitions. During my tenure student involvement has increased from just 17 clubs to over 47. Empowering students has been a life long mission for me as an educator and I hope to continue in this role as an administrator.
