The ACT measures educational achievement in English, math, reading, and science.
This test is given ONCE to all 11th grade students and all students are automatically registered.
Pinecrest’s investment in an ACT Prep Program has proven beneficial, helping students improve their ACT scores. This initiative not only enhances academic performance but also boosts college readiness for students.

The PACT is intended to assist students in preparing for the official ACT exam, which is administered to all 11th graders, by replicating the test format and experience.
The PACT is given to all 10th grade students and all students are automatically registered.
Test Day: October/November
The PSAT is designed to measure evidence-based reading and writing, and mathematics while preparing students for the official SAT.
This test is given to 10th and 11th graders only. As an 11th grader, students are considered for the NMSQT.
Registration is the first week in September
Test Day: Mid October
Administered during the school day to registered students only.
The SAT Reasoning Test (Scholastic Aptitude Test) measures evidence-based reading and writing, and mathematics.
Students must self register at the link below. This is not a test given during the school day at Pinecrest High School.

Taking the ACT in November/December will give you a base score. You can then use the Prep Program to target deficits and prepare for the March test.
