North Carolina’s Cooperative Innovative High Schools consist of early colleges and other innovative high schools in partnership with community and four-year colleges throughout the state. Moore County’s new Innovative High School will provide an accelerated learning model in a personalized environment on the campus of Sandhills Community College.
All academic courses will be taught at the Honors Level in small classes with support. The rigor of these classes will ensure students are ready for college-level coursework in the Junior and Senior years of high school. Our program will provide students the opportunity to complete career certifications, credentials, and/or an associate degree alongside the high school diploma. Students may attend for up to five years before graduating.
