Becoming a Canvas Observer

Each student may have up to five observers for their Canvas account.  These observers will be able to see published course content that is visible to the student being observed. Observers will NOT be able to participate in the course, or communicate with course participants.   

Before signing up as Canvas observers, parents MUST have a Canvas pairing code.  This can be generated by a student (here's how). Once generated, the code is good for 7 days or until it is used.

1. Access the Canvas parent portal using one of the below options.

2. iOS/Android app users:  Click Find School, then search for and choose     Moore County Schools - Parents
Webs access users:  Skip to step 3.

4. Enter your details and enter the pairing code provided by your student.  Create your account, and then login.  You will now be able to view all of the Canvas content visible to your child, including assignments, due dates, grades, and feedback.
