The new reality of this Covid-19 outbreak is putting a strain on nearly every facet of our daily lives. We all have been forced to change out routines, our employment situations, and even where we are living. Know that I am here for each and every one of you.
In our classroom, we refer to each other as family, and I extend that feeling out to my entire community. As family, we are here for each other. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, concerns, or needs, academic or otherwise.
Below you will find information from the district and beyond that may be able to help you in this trying time. Thank you all for your flexibility and your courage.
We will get through this together.
This page will have the most updated information from the district, including helpful links like the ones below.
Times and Locations (Including Riverside!) for pickups of student breakfast and lunch. (Student must be present in order to receive food.)
So many families in our community, the state, and the country find themselves out of work during this time. My family has been affected by this as well. Please use this link if you are out of work and needing income. The benefits, availability, and duration have all recently been increased.
Here is a district page with options if you need wifi. Scroll down to the bottom to see affordable (and potentially free) wifi offers from multiple carriers.
If your child is in need of a chromebook, North Clackamas will be distributing them for borrowing during this time. These are the same devices my students use daily in class. Please fill out this form to get on the list. Chromebooks are scheduled to start being distributed the week of April 6. (Thank you for being flexible on distribution dates and times).
