To let people see[or not] your page, you can click on the 3 dots to the right of the page and select Show or Hide in navigation.
If you add Google Docs [word processing, slides, Forms, Sheets, etc.], be sure that your SHARE settings are set to ANYONE with the LINK CAN VIEW, or the specific permissions you desire. If you don't, no one will be able to see your Google docs, but you.
