Course Description:

Welcome to Photography! Using the Elements and Principles of Design, students will master the fundamentals of good composition and quality craftsmanship as they relate to photography as an art form.

Technical skills such as the handling of a digital SLR camera and the computer program Adobe Photoshop. The students will study the work of master photographers and other artists as source of cultural and historical understanding and inspiration.

Creative activities will encourage growth in critical thinking, decision making and problem solving. Students will need to welcome constructive criticism, be willing to work hard, and be open to new experiences. *Personal camera not required.

We use Google Classroom for all assignments, so any further information needed can be found there.
