CHS Library/Media Center

 Our mission is to provide the CHS community with easy access to resources and services that complement and supplement the curriculum, enhance the classroom learning experiences, provide a space for academic pursuit, and encourage the love for reading.

Hours

School Days from 7:30-3:45 Monday - Friday

Loan Periods

15 school days (3 weeks); 1 renewal

1 period for other "period" textbooks

Overdue Fines:

10 cents/day for most library materials

10 cents/period "period" textbooks

Late textbooks (including English novels) are $5.00

Library Media Center Use and Passes

When visiting the Library Media Center during school hours, students must present a pass from a staff member, sign-in, and leave backpacks in cubbyholes. Excused Period students may use the Library and are only required to sign in. The Library is open to any student before school, during lunches, and after school; students are just required to sign in.

Library Material and Textbook Policy

Students must have a current student ID card or a way to verify an account to checkout library materials and textbooks.

Printing

Printing is free of charge from our print kiosks.
