About Me

I was born in Portland and raised in Southern California. As a fourth-generation teacher, growth and learning are the lenses through which I view the world. I believe that education is a powerful force for equity and will work to make my classroom a safe and welcoming place for all of my students. In short, teaching English is my dream job, and I am so excited to be part of the team here at Rock Creek!

In my free time, I love to play basketball or go for a run. As a former college athlete, staying active is an important part of my life. I also enjoy playing guitar, reading (of course!), and spending as much time as possible with my sweet cat, Lucy.
