The Oregon Battle of the Book’s mission is to encourage and recognize students who enjoy reading, to broaden reading interests, to increase reading comprehension, promote academic excellence, and to promote cooperative learning and teamwork among students.

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math! You can expect weekly opportunities to challenge yourself and your peers to create, build and design a variety of projects.

The Social Justice Club is not only a club, but a safe and welcoming place where youth can meet, collaborate, and discuss their opinions on social justice issues. Over the course of the year we will discuss topics such as anti-racism, climate change, LBGTQ+ rights, animal rights, and many more! This club will meet weekly on Wednesdays 3:00-4:00 pm starting December 2nd!

Far from simply being a game, chess also teaches us about key individual characteristics and helps us develop critical thinking and logic skills. Many people across the world enjoy playing chess and exploring the intricacies of a highly diverse and fun game.
