This project focuses on reducing food waste on an individual level under the topic of climate change. By doing research, collecting information, compiling into a toolkit and distributing it via social media, the team is hoping to help people understand and take actions to reduce food waste at home.
#2 - YOUNG SCHOLARS TUTORING PROGRAM by AACS by ACAN
The project focuses on helping elementary and middle school students struggling in their studies during the pandemic and online schooling. The team has organized and provided online tutoring to students in St. Louis Missouri for over 800 hours since September 2020. It is an ongoing project.

This project focuses on the broader education of deaf culture and language in the global hearing community, increasing visibility and awareness of deaf culture, building the bridge between the hearing community and deaf community through providing community classes and other initiatives in the future.
#17 - MAKING STARS IN TIMES OF DARKNESS by CHEER(Community for Holistic Education and Empowerment of Civic Responsibility)
This project centers on the importance of public-healthcare worker relationships in the Chinese American community. A group of young children with ages from 3-11 picked this topic as they were inspired by parents and fundraisers of CHEER to donate PPEs to local hospitals. They also expressed their appreciation through handmade stars to contribute to more bonding and donations to heroes during the time of darkness: frontline healthcare workers.

This project focuses primarily on encouraging, promoting and providing COVID-19 vaccinations to those who have yet to receive theirs. This team is from Oregon and they will continue carrying out more clinics until December 30, 2021.

This project focuses on creating easily accessible resources and including supplies so even children with special needs will have the chance to rewind during the pandemic. This California student team has designed, made and delivered over 565 art kits, music kits and sensory kits with videos to children with special needs so far and continues working on their 1000 kits goal.

Jimmy Gu and Charlie Gu visited three orphans living in a run-down house in Da Liang Shan of Sichuan Province. This experience greatly impacted them and they were determined to support these children in their education so they can receive better opportunities in the future by paying for their tuition and other basic needs.
