I am an Assistant Professor of Biology and Ecology at New College of Florida. I received my Bachelor's degree in Biology from the San Carlos University of Guatemala and my Master's and Doctoral degrees in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation with a concentration in Tropical Conservation and Development from the University of Florida. My research focuses on the intersection between wildlife ecology, conservation, and development. I have also worked as a conservation practitioner and consultant for local and international NGO's.
