Renecito Avich

Renecito Avich, is Sarasota-based Cuban American artist who specializes in traditional Cuban music, like the Son Santiaguero, the Changüi Nengón, and the Trova Santiaguera. Avich was the winner of several Cuban national competitions: Festival Contest “Ignacio Piñeiro”, “Cubadisco Award 2011”, “Competition Ignacio Villa AHS” 2013. He was also awarded the Gold Title of the University of the Arts of Cuba, and the Cubadisco 2014 Award with the production Jóvenes Treseros de Cuba (Young Tres players of Cuba).
