Financial Obligations:
First month’s rent, last month’s rent, and security deposit are sometimes required at signing. Plan your budget accordingly. Depending on your rental, the utilities and power may need to be turned on separately. You might need a FICO score in order to get off campus housing. Food Stamps:
Find out if you qualify. Head to this website . If you receive the majority of your meals through either a mandatory or optional meal plan, you are ineligible for SNAP. Meal plan structure may vary from institution to institution, so state agencies should fully explore your circumstances to determine what portion of your meals are covered by the plan.
Transportation
(It's a bird, it's a plane, it's super transporter!) If you don't have a car, do have a plan to either ride a bike, walk, or take the public transportation. Know where the bus stops are!
