New Castle County Vocational Technical School District provides after-school activity buses to support families. These buses drop students off at designated “hub” stops making it more convenient for parents and guardians to pick them up. Please note that these stops are not a your students everyday bus stop, nor are they intended or designed for students to walk home from.
Prior to using the Afterschool buses, please review the bus routes to determine your student’s stop and route number. We recommend visiting the stop with your student ahead of time so they are familiar with the location. Families should also agree on a safe meeting spot for pick-up. Indicated stop times are estimated times. Actual stop times are dependent on how many students use the bus that day. Parents should plan to be at the stop 30 minute prior to the actual drop off time until the buses fall into a routine.
*Note: Afterschool bus stops are reviewed to make sure they are safe and suitable for high school students. Stops will not be changed to make them closer to a student’s home or easier to walk from.
Any questions, please reach out to the District Transportation Office.

The club advisor will pick up the lunches for the meeting and have them there so no time is wasted and everyone is present at the start of the meeting.
