Writer's Workshop

3rd graders will learn various writing skills and strategies throughout our three units of study: opinion, informational, narrative. Lessons are designed around the five dimensions of writing: meaning, development, organization, language use, and conventions. 3rd graders will use a Writer's Notebook to write daily, practicing the skills and strategies learned in class. Writing skills and strategies will also be taught during reading, science, and social studies.
