What are the position particulars?

This position will be available on or around August 1, 2026.
10 month position (Sept 1 - June 30, plus 7 summer days).
Salary range - $95,000-$105,000 (Actual salary will be based on education and experience)

What are the qualifications for the position?

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years classroom teaching experience
Master's degree in Social Studies, a Social Science Discipline, Literacy, Curriculum & Instruction, or Educational Leadership
Active School District Leader (SDL) certification
Experience in curriculum development, instructional leadership, and teacher supervision.
Strong knowledge of state standards, assessment practices, and intervention strategies.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated experience implementing Social Studies curricula aligned with the New York State K–12 Social Studies Framework and the Culturally Responsive-Sustaining Education Framework.
Background in analyzing assessment data to drive instructional decisions.
