The Ground Based Gas Phase Chemistry working group is focused on all aspects of ground based atmospheric chemistry measurements within the Atmospheric Measurement and Observation Facility (AMOF).
The purpose of the group is to bring together people active in the field, be they established researchers, people new to the field, or instrumentation developers\suppliers, with the aim to:
share experiences and expertise
introduce new ideas and developments
establish best measurement and calibration practice
highlight areas that would benefit from investment and advise NCAS-Observations
provide an opportunity for networking
The terms of reference for the group will state that this group will report to the Atmospheric Measurement and Observation Facility (AMOF) Steering Committee (SC). The AMOFSC meets once a year and a standing item in its agenda is for discussion of working group reports. It is the AMOFSC that advise on capital investment. Reporting is via a template.
