Students my dress up for the entire day however if their costume is uncomfortable they will need to wear their uniform. Our class will be doing the "The Frog Prince", and "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe" with activities around Mesopotamia and the Planets.

Homework Expectations:
First-grade; The homework expectation for first grade is to read together nightly. Reading logs will be sent home on September 25th to track reading practice. As we move forward you can expect some short Math practice sheets and or a one-minute timed reading for fluency in the grey nightly folders. Alongside reading, there should not be more than 10 minutes of homework each evening.
Literacy: practice the first 55 phonograms for reinforcement at home. Practice spelling lists from weeks 7 and 8 master test on Friday.
