Sept. 2:  Math: Textbook Exercise 1.1 (1-5)   IEW: Ring of Fire KWO   Literature: Finish Apollo and Daphne AND poetry memoria (page 7)

Sept. 3: Math: Workbook pages 17 & 18   IEW: Page 25, Begin "Ring of Fire" rough draft   Grammar: WOL pages 14 & 15 if you did not finish in class

Sept. 4: Math:  Workbook pages 20-21   IEW: Finish your "Ring of Fire" rough draft and have it edited.   History: Read through study guide page!

Sept. 5: Math: Exercise 1.2 (1-7)   IEW: Final Draft of "Ring of Fire"  Literature: Finish "Cupid and Psyche" in Realms of Gold  (pages 57-60)

Sept. 8:  IEW: Complete your KWO for "The Dead Sea"   Math: Complete Multiplication & Division Practice Sprints--both sides! 

Grammar: Quiz tomorrow--study practice sentences   History: Show your parents History notes, discuss what you learned!

Sept. 9: Math: Workbook pages 24 & 25   IEW:  Complete page 32  Literature: Write a 4-6 sentence summary of Cupid and Psyche in your red Literature notebooks  History- Take home history notes home and discuss with your parents! 

Sept. 10: Math:  Workbook pages 27 & 28   IEW: Finish "Dead Sea" Rough Drafts  History: Bring home notebooks and discuss with your parents!

Sept. 11: Math:  In your workbooks, page 29 shows 6 different methods to solve 26 x 8. Review all the methods. Then choose TWO of the methods to solve 16 x 7 on page 30    Literature:  Retell your myth to your parents or a sibling  IEW: Finish your rough draft and have it edited   History:  Show your parents your notes and discuss what you learned. 

Sept. 12: Math: Exercise 1.3 (2-5; must show work on 3-5) AND workbook page 31     IEW: Final drafts are due Monday  History: Bring notes home to show parents!

Sept. 15: I'm sorry! Work will be excused if you were a day late. However, make sure to use your planners! Parents, I answer emails in the evening before 7, so you can also email me with homework questions.

Sept. 16: Math: Textbook Exercise 1.4  # 1a-d, 2a-d, 3a& b, 4 a &b, 5, 6   IEW:  Finish Alfred Wegener KWO

Sept. 17: Math: Review packet  IEW: First paragraph of rough draft for Alfred Wegener  Grammar: WOL page 32 if you did not finish in class   History: Bring notebooks home for parents to view and discuss.  ***Your 6th grader should have brought their CMAS results home!

Sept. 19: Science: Study for test!  Grammar: WOL 32-33  History: Bring notes home!  IEW: Have your rough raft edited!

Sept. 22: Math: Workbook page 39   IEW: Finish Final Draft for Wegener   History: Bring notes home and discuss with parents!  Grammar: page 33 and 34 a & b ( if you did NOT finish in class)

Sept. 23: Math: Workbook 39-42, packet pages assigned (not the whole packet unless you want to!   History: Bring notes home, discuss with parents, remember to bring them back!    ***NO IEW tonight!

Sept. 24: Math: Math Workbook pages 45, 46, 48   IEW: Read Source Text ( page 47 ) & KWO for characters and setting    Grammar: WOL 36-37

Sept. 25: Math: Workbook 52-52  IEW: KWO for conflict/problem  Literature: Finish Chapter 2

Sept. 26: Math:  Textbook pages 48-49, 1a-f, 2a-f, 3,-8 if you did not finish in class  IEW: Finish KWO page 47 if not finished in class  Literature: Children's Homer page 19-22    WONDER DAY PROJECT!
