French I
French I
Welcome! I am so excited to introduce you to the language and culture of France! It is my hope that by the end of our year together, you will have an inspiring familiarity with the history, arts, architecture, literature, people and places of France, along with a basic level of language acquisition. You will encounter rich vocabulary, and move toward proficiency in basic communication, both spoken and written. We will read, sing, eat, celebrate, and explore together. Learning a language requires short but consistent practice. Please plan to spend 20 minutes of focused study and/or reading 5 nights per week.
