Allison Hart is a veteran educator who is passionate about helping students discover their strengths and reach their full potential. Now beginning her 28th year of teaching in North Brunswick, she brings deep experience and a strong commitment to supporting diverse learners. Allison began her career as a special education teacher and joined Livingston Park Elementary School in 1998, where she taught 4th grade before transitioning to an ELA Academic Support Teacher in 2007. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Master’s degree in English and Language Arts Education from Rutgers University. Allison is dedicated to creating engaging learning experiences that nurture both skill development and a love of learning, encouraging students to pursue their passions with confidence and curiosity.
Ali Welch is a driven educator who is passionate about helping all students grow, especially those who need advanced learning opportunities. As the Gifted and Talented Coordinator for North Brunswick Township Public Schools, she helped create the district’s SOAR program to identify and support students with a wide range of strengths. Her work focuses on making sure gifted services are fair, inclusive, and accessible, beginning with early identification in grades K–4. With a Master’s degree from Rutgers University and experience in both elementary and special education, Ali blends research-based practices with a strong understanding of how children learn. She believes in supporting the whole child by nurturing not only academic growth, but also social-emotional skills. Through her leadership, teaching, and family outreach, Ali works to ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive.
Cassidy Varga is an inclusive educator who is passionate about supporting all learners. She is currently in her eighth year with North Brunswick Township Public Schools and serves as the SOAR Coordinator, where she supports the identification and development of students’ skills, interests, and learning pathways. Prior to her work in SOAR, Cassidy was a special education teacher at Livingston Park, an experience that continues to shape her commitment to equitable, student-centered practices. She holds a Master’s degree in Elementary Education and has furthered her professional growth by earning certifications in educational administration. Cassidy believes effective instruction begins with understanding each student’s unique strengths and needs. Through collaboration with teachers, leadership within the district, and strong partnerships with families, Cassidy works to ensure every student is empowered to reach their highest potential.
Kritika Iyer is a dedicated and caring educator who brings warmth, experience, and enthusiasm to her role as the SOAR Coordinator and Teacher at Livingston Park. Now in her 16th year of teaching in North Brunswick, Kritika has supported students in many meaningful ways—as a 3rd and 4th grade classroom teacher, a Math Academic Support Teacher for grades 1–4, and a teacher in the district’s GATE program. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Technology and a Master’s degree in Elementary Reading and Literacy, which together shape her thoughtful and well-rounded approach to teaching and learning. Kritika is passionate about encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and a genuine love of learning. She is committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where every child feels valued, appropriately challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.
