In 2016, the WIDA Consortium began administration of the annual summative assessment, ACCESS for ELLs 2.0.  This page contains information needed for New Jersey educators to successfully administer ACCESS 2.0. 2024-25 ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 Timeline 

The following is the tentative timeline of upcoming events/tasks related to the 2023-24 ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 test administration

Dec. 5, 2024 - NJDOE snapshots ACCESS student Pre-ID from Genesis

Jan 9, 2025 - Mandated district ACCESS training at Central Office; copy of certs due to DTC directly after training

Jan 13, 2025- All practice schedules due to DTC & building STC

Jan 21, 2025- Final ACCESS schedule per building due to DTC & STC (updates permitted, but must be approved by DTC/STC)

Jan 28, 2025- Materials arrive to DTC

Jan 31, 2025- Materials sent to STCs at schools

Jan. -  Feb 2025 - Practice ACCESS Testing

Monday, February 3rd to Friday, March 28th-  NBTSchools ACCESS testing window 

Tuesday, April 8, 2025-  ALL ACCESS materials sent back to DTC for shipment to DRC/WIDA

May 2, 2025- May 14, 2025- Data Validation Window

June 19, 2025- ACCESS scores available & review of scoring changes
