Several kids' environmental groups and clubs in Christchurch allow children and youth to take active roles in protecting the earth. Through tree planting, wildlife preservation, and community gardening, these groups empower younger generations to become caretakers of nature.

Early Childhood & Primary School Groups (Ages 3–13)

• Envirokids: Run by the Christchurch Envirohub, this programme guides children through interactive, fun conservation activities alongside other young eco-warriors. 

• Elements Nature Based Play: Offers hands-on environmental exploration through the "Wild Ones" playgroup and a dedicated one-day nature school. 

• Kiwi Conservation Club (KCC): The junior branch of Forest & Bird, connecting kids with local wildlife projects and educational nature adventures.

• Little Kiwis Nature Play: Operates a "Bush Kindy" playgroup focused on cultivating deep, child-led connections with the outdoors.
