The Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) is a leadership program designed to give students a head start. Navy JROTC develops the self-discipline, self-confidence, and leadership skills to help you successfully meet life’s challenges. People who are successful in life, who succeed in business, industry, and education, have developed strong self-discipline, the ability to lead and motivate others, and a well-rounded character. The Navy JROTC curriculum and instructional activities are designed to develop your leadership ability regardless of your career path.
The purpose of the Navy JROTC program is to instill in High School students the values of citizenship, community, state, and Country. As well as personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment.

Assistance with ROTC Scholarships to 4 year Universities
Selection/application to Military Academies, leading to a Commission for a Military career as well, advice on enlisted military careers
The Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) is a federally sponsored high school program that educates and trains students to develop a leadership mentality, attention to detail, and problem solving skill set. This program can be found in hundreds of high schools throughout the United States. MLK's NJROTC program helps benefit the school, the community, and most importantly, the cadets.
