JLAB COMPETITION
As a reminder, the Level I JLAB competition begins TODAY see attached and below for more information on how to sign up and compete:
Level I JLAB is available online NOW until November
PLEASE NOTE: Strongly advise against waiting until the last minute as Extensions will not be granted
Dates of Competition
• NOW – FEB 15 Practice Test (open to all cadets!) (Open & Available Now)
• NOV 1 - 20 Level I
• FEB 1 - 15 Level II
• JUN 24 - 28 The Championship in Washington, DC
It is time to compete!
Helpful Tips
Level I is available online until November 20. Please take Level I early. There will be NO extensions.
Use Chrome, Edge, or Firefox. Do not use Internet Explorer or Safari.
All team members must be present. The instructor is the proctor for the test.
The test, which takes approximately one hour, must be completed in one sitting and taken AS A TEAM.
Information for Instructors ONLY!
Assemble a team:
Go to COFContests.com
Sign In using your (instructor) email address and password
If you have not previously Signed Up, you will need to do that before you can Sign In
On your Team Dashboard, you will see Assemble a Team
You may have up to two (2) teams per academic competition and one (1) leadership team (Army only)
To add a team - click Add Team beside the competition name
To add cadets - click Add Student beside the team name
You may delete an entire team if you wish
Compete in Level I:
Go to COFContests.com
Sign In using your (instructor) email address and password.
On the left side of the Team Dashboard click Test.
Ensure you select the correct test for the team (Ex. Academic Bowl - Team A).
Only registered team members, alternates (optional), and an instructor (proctor) are allowed during the competition.
As the proctor, remember not to influence the answer in any way.
You may access Level I anytime through November 20, but again, we advise against waiting until the last minute. Extensions will not be granted.
NOTE: The Guidelines for the competitions are also available on both the instructor and student dashboard under Resources.
It’s highly recommend all instructors and team members read the Guidelines prior to participating in Level I.
