Upcoming Events

Taste of Kennesaw - On Saturday, 1 Nov 2025, cadets will have an opportunity to volunteer at the Annual Taste of Kennesaw hosted by our Superior Plumbing family. The event will be located in Downtown Kennesaw at the intersection of Main Street and Cherokee St. The event will be split into two shifts; 11:00am - 2:30pm & 2:30pm - 6:00pm. Uniform will be unit Warmup/Sweatshirt, khaki trousers, closed toed shoes, and a cap. Click here to participate.

University of North Georgia (UNG) Field Trip - On Thursday 13 Nov 2025, cadets will have the opportunity to visit the University of North Georgia (UNG) Corps of Cadets and campus.  Cost will be FREE to cadets who have paid activity fees and $35 for non-paying cadets. Cadets will experience UNG cadet life and conduct a walking tour of campus facilities. Upon completion of the tour the cadets will eat at the UNG chow hall. Time permitting, we also plan for a short tour of Amicolola Falls State Park on transit back to North Cobb. Click here to sign up: 

Cobb Vineyard Church (CVC) Food Pantry CSE - On Saturday 15 Nov 2025, cadets will have an opportunity to volunteer at Cobb Vineyard Church located right down the street from North Cobb at 3206 Old 41 Hwy NW, Kennesaw Ga 30144. In support of our local community, cadets will assist in building food baskets for delivery and distribution  throughout our local area. The event will be from 1030-1400. Uniform will be unit t-shirt, khaki trousers, closed toed shoes, and a cap. Click here if here to participate.

North Cobb & Harrison Home Football Game - On 14 Nov 2025, North Cobb and Harrison will be hosting the first round of state playoffs. Uniform will be yellow PT/sweatshirt, khaki trousers, and a cap. More info will follow. Click here if you want to participate. 

This past weekend on 1 November, we competed in the Stockbridge Area 9 Drill Championship. We earned 3rd place overall, 1st place in Armed Exhibition, and 1st place in Unarmed Exhibition. Thank you drill team or an amazing season.

Southwest Dekalb Drill Meet

On October 25th, our drill team competed in the Southwest Dekalb drill meet. We placed 2nd overall for the meet, 2nd overall for drill, and 3rd overall for athletics. Thank you for all the members hard work and dedication in making this achievement possible. 

Cobb Vineyard Food Pantry 

On October 18th, 23 cadets came together to volunteer at a food pantry hosted by Cobb Vineyard. Their kindness and commitment to service truly embody the spirit of giving back. Thank you to all the cadets who dedicated their time and energy to helping those in need and making our community stronger.

Gainesville Drill Meet

On October 11th, we competed in the Gainesville Drill Meet. We placed 3rd overall while also placing 3rd in armed exhibition. Thank you to all the cadets who showed up and showed out at this meet.

Cobb Vineyard Food Pantry

On October 4th, cadets volunteered at Cobb Vineyard Church to participate in the Cobb Vineyard Food Pantry, cadets packed up food and helped with distribution. Thank you to all who participated in this event.

North Georgia State Fair

McDonough Fun Drill Meet

This Past weekend our Athletic and Drill teams competed in the annual McDonough Fun Drill Meet. We placed 1st in athletics, 2nd in armed basic, and 2nd in color guard. Congratulations to our teams and their hard work. 

Parris Island Field Trip

On September 2nd-5th we took a trip to Parris Island SC, Marine Corps Recruit Depot; Where we spent the week getting a taste of what it is like being a Marine Recruit - running the confidence course, learning the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program, engaging in team building activities and watching our three graduated cadets Hopkins, Poston, and Robinson become United States Marines.

Welcome Aboard Orientation 

On August 9th, we hosted our annual welcome aboard picnic, opening the day up with this year’s freshman orientation, new cadets were introduced to Brain Brawl, Rifle, Drill, and Drone. After, the cadets were able to enjoy fun activities and a meal. Thank you to all cadets, parents, and Booster Members that showed up to make this event possible. 

North Cobb Warrior Welcome

Thank you to all the cadets who participated in the North Cobb, Warrior Welcome, we appreciate all the work that was done to help out our upcoming students.

CMP Rifle Camp

This past weekend we had 8 cadets go to Anniston Alabama for CMP rifle camp. We are so proud of their dedication and commitment to becoming strong members of our rifle team.

Area 9 Brain Brawl Competition 

Congratulations to brain brawl for placing 3rd overall in the area 9 brain brawl competition . Be sure to congratulate all of  our outstanding cadets

On February 8th , 2025 the unit held its annual military ball at the Marietta Country club. This event consisted of a traditional ceremony including the MIA and POW table. Along with a sword arch to honor our seniors. Cadets had a great time with their peers and senior parents. 

Eagles Landing Brain Brawl Competition

GA NG Aviation Visit @Dobbins Air Force Base 

February 6th some of our cadets traveled to dobbins air force base to learn about and look inside helicopters. 

GHSA Rifle Match @ Kennesaw Mountain

February 6th  our GHSA rifle team had their last regular match of the season at Kennesaw Mountain high school. we did not win the match, but Caden Guirty had the highest score for our team, AND his personal best! Be sure to congratulate Caden.

Brain Brawl Competition Hosted @ North Cobb NJROTC

Thank you to all the cadets that helped out with the brain brawl competition. Everyone worked really well together. 

GHSA Rifle Match vs Lassiter @ North Cobb

Congratulations to our GHSA rifle shooters for winning their match against Lassiter high school. Be sure to congratulate Ben Geralds for being the top shooter overall in the match. 

Area 9 rifle championships - Anniston Alabama 

Congratulations to our precision rifle team for placing 3rd overall. Be sure to congratulate Brandon Parks for placing 5th place indvidual for precision. Congratulations to the sporters for placing 8th place overall. 

                Veterans Day Color Guards 

Thank you to all the cadets that participated in a color-guard this past weekend to honor our veterans, at Acworth united methodist church, ben roberston community center, Downtown Kennesaw veterans day event, and the Georgia veterans day association 2024 freedom ball,

 Pensacola Field Trip

This past weekend a group of our cadets traveled to Auburn university, Tuskegee, Pensacola airshow, USS Alabama, and the USS Drum. We had an amazing fun time exploring around and learning about new opportunities for these cadets.

6th Annual Feed the Hungry Community Service

                   Jolly Rogers Orienteering Meet

During this past weekend, the orienteering team travled to dauset trails nature center. Placing 3rd overall. Cadets to be recognized are Ashley Thomas placing 3rd in Female JV.  Make sure to congratulate all the cadets that competed this weekend. We are all proud!!!!

  Marietta Raising of the American flag 

On Saturday August 10th four of our cadets had the opportunity to participate and lead the rising of Old Glory. Hosted by The Marietta Country Club, alongside the Sons of the American Revolution. This event was a great opportunity to display leadership in our community!
