Cobb Vineyard Food Pantry CSE - On Saturday, 7 March 2026 the NJROTC unit will support their community by assisting Cobb Vineyard Church in distributing food to needy families. The event will be from 10:30am until12:30pm. The uniform will be unit t-shirt, khaki color trousers or shorts, and closed toed shoes. Sign up here if you would like to volunteer.
North Cobb Rising 9th Grade Parent Night
On March 11th, cadets volunteered in North Cobb's Parent Night, where they were tasked with guiding parents. Thank you to all the cadets who participated in this event.
Cobb Vineyard Food Pantry
On March 7th, cadets volunteered at the Cobb Vineyard Food Pantry, thank you to all the cadets that showed up to help out.
Annual Military Inspection 2026
On March 5th, we went through our pass and review, during this ceremony we had a demonstration from our unarmed exhibition drill routine, and we marched Infront of the area manger. Earlier this semester on the 6th of February we conducted our inspection portion of the AMI. Thank you to all the cadets, and Booster Parents that made this possible. Click here for more pictures.
Rifle Semi-Finals
On March 3rd, North Cobb went up against Glynn Academy in the Rifle Semi-Finals winning, and qualifying us for state.
North Cobb Brain Brawl
On February 28th, we hosted the final Brain Brawl Competition before the Area 9 Championship. Thank you to everyone who showed up and helped out.
From 25 -27 Feb cadets traveled to Charleston, SC by way of Augusta, GA. Cadets were able to tour the Augusta University Guardhouse Museum, CSS Hunley exhibit, Fort Moultrie, The Citadel, stay aboard the USS Yorktown for a night and have an excursion to play on the beach and see the dolphins play as well!
On Febuary 14th, we heled our annual Military Ball, and hosted it at the Marietta Country Club. Thank you to our Unit Staff, Booster Board, Country Club Staff, and the participation of our cadets that made this event possible.

On January 16th, and 20th, we traveled to Barber and Autrey middle schools to show the rising freshman a little piece on what NJROTC has to offer.
Cobb Vineyard Food Pantry
On January 17th, cadets volunteered at the food pantry at Cobb Vineyard church to help out their community. Thank you to everyone who volunteered.
Area 9 Rifle Championship
On January 10th, cadets traveled to CMP in Anniston Alabama, to compete in the Area 9 Championship. Our precision team placed 1st overall. With Williams, and Parks making it to the finals, Williams placed 4th and Parks placed 5th. Congrats and thank you for everyone's hard work.
Hillgrove Brain Brawl
On December 20th, cadets competed in the Hillgrove Brain Brawl competition. Team A placed 4th overall. Congrats to everyone who competed in this event.

Area 9 Orienteering Championship
This past weekend our Orienteering team traveled to Sweet Water Creek for the Area 9 Championship, we placed 3rd overall, with Cadets Sebastian Wilson placing 2nd on the Intermediate course, and Sam Praser placing 5th on the JV course. Thank you for your hard work and congrats to everyone who competed.
Shop With A Warrior
On December 13th, North Cobb hosted its annual shop with a warrior, 10 cadets came an helped out the little shoppers with food, gift wrapping, and passing out gifts. Thank you to everyone who participated in this event.
Kennesaw Santa Parade
On Saturday November 6th, our unit traveled to Downtown Kennesaw to march in the annual Santa Parade.
On 15th November, our Orienteering team traveled to, Dauset Trails Nature Center to compete. We placed 5th overall with Thomas, Ashley placing 1st in female JV, and Ivanowski, Rhett placing 1st in Intermediate. Congrats to everyone who competed in this meet.
This past weekend cadets volunteered at the Cobb Vineyard Food Pantry, to help pass out food to families. Thank you all who showed up, to support this event.
On Thursday November 13th, we traveled to Dahlonega GA, to visit the University Of North Georgia.
On Tuesday November 11th, North Cobb High School hosted it's annual Veterans Day Ceremony, to honor and thank all our veterans. Thank you to all who attended, to support and help us show appreciation for their service.
Thank you to all the cadets who participated in the veterans day color guards this past week. We're thankful for the chance to support the veterans in our community.
On November 8th, our rifle team competed in the Upson-Lee Rifle Meet. Our Precision team won 2nd Overall, the Sporter team won 6th Overall. Our top Precision shooters were Parks, Brandon, and Williams, Raymond. And our top Sporter shooter was Collins, Claire.
This past weekend on 1 November, we competed in the Stockbridge Area 9 Drill Championship. We earned 3rd place overall, 1st place in Armed Exhibition, and 1st place in Unarmed Exhibition. Thank you drill team for an amazing season.
Southwest Dekalb Drill Meet
On October 25th, our drill team competed in the Southwest Dekalb drill meet. We placed 2nd overall for the meet, 2nd overall for drill, and 3rd overall for athletics. Thank you for all the members hard work and dedication in making this achievement possible.
Cobb Vineyard Food Pantry
On October 18th, 23 cadets came together to volunteer at a food pantry hosted by Cobb Vineyard. Their kindness and commitment to service truly embody the spirit of giving back. Thank you to all the cadets who dedicated their time and energy to helping those in need and making our community stronger.
Gainesville Drill Meet
On October 11th, we competed in the Gainesville Drill Meet. We placed 3rd overall while also placing 3rd in armed exhibition. Thank you to all the cadets who showed up and showed out at this meet.
Cobb Vineyard Food Pantry
On October 4th, cadets volunteered at Cobb Vineyard Church to participate in the Cobb Vineyard Food Pantry, cadets packed up food and helped with distribution. Thank you to all who participated in this event.
This Past Fall Break during September 20th- 28th, cadets worked at the Superior Plumbing booth at the North Georgia State Fair. We totaled up to 190 hours of community service. Thank you to all the cadets that came out to support the unit.
McDonough Fun Drill Meet
This Past weekend our Athletic and Drill teams competed in the annual McDonough Fun Drill Meet. We placed 1st in athletics, 2nd in armed basic, and 2nd in color guard. Congratulations to our teams and their hard work.
Parris Island Field Trip
On September 2nd-5th we took a trip to Parris Island SC, Marine Corps Recruit Depot; Where we spent the week getting a taste of what it is like being a Marine Recruit - running the confidence course, learning the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program, engaging in team building activities and watching our three graduated cadets Hopkins, Poston, and Robinson become United States Marines.

Welcome Aboard Orientation
On August 9th, we hosted our annual welcome aboard picnic, opening the day up with this year’s freshman orientation, new cadets were introduced to Brain Brawl, Rifle, Drill, and Drone. After, the cadets were able to enjoy fun activities and a meal. Thank you to all cadets, parents, and Booster Members that showed up to make this event possible.
North Cobb Warrior Welcome
Thank you to all the cadets who participated in the North Cobb, Warrior Welcome, we appreciate all the work that was done to help out our upcoming students.
CMP Rifle Camp
This past weekend we had 8 cadets go to Anniston Alabama for CMP rifle camp. We are so proud of their dedication and commitment to becoming strong members of our rifle team.
This past weekend our cadets participated in the Patriotic Service at Burnt Hickory Baptist Church, this service was done in honor of our military branches, we are honored to be able to participate in this event.

Congratulations to the cadets that competed at the Area 9 drone competition this past weekend.
February 6th some of our cadets traveled to dobbins air force base to learn about and look inside helicopters.
On Saturday August 10th four of our cadets had the opportunity to participate and lead the rising of Old Glory. Hosted by The Marietta Country Club, alongside the Sons of the American Revolution. This event was a great opportunity to display leadership in our community!
