SACC Program Volunteer Opportunity
Location: Roosevelt School at 50 Webster Street
Organization: North Arlington SACC
Position: Aftercare Program Volunteer
Hours of Operation: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Who We Are: SACC provides safe and supportive childcare for Grades Pre-K to 5 in the North Arlington School District.
As a volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to:
Assist with homework and provide academic support
Lead or participate in activities such as arts, sports, or games
Help students develop important social-emotional skills
Create a positive and inclusive environment for all participants
Qualifications: prospective volunteers must be 16 years or older, and submit a teacher recommendation. We ask that volunteers have a passion for working with children. Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude would serve you well in this role.

Multicultural Club/Guidance Dept. - Multicultural Club and the NAHS Guidance Department have teamed up to create a "buddy system" for new students in our building. This is a way to welcome them into the Viking Community and help them get settled. Your job may include showing the new student around the building, introducing them to their teachers, or possibly translating. Please complete the form in your Grade Level Google Classroom if you are interested in being a "buddy" to a new student here at NAHS. The Guidance Department will then award you community service hours for your donated time.
