The WES Wave

Please enjoy WES Wave Breaking News covering topics from Winter and Spring 2026. The WES WAVE is a Wellfleet Elementary School student run online publication. Each grade meets once a week with Mr. Staker during our new Digital Media class, "THE WES WAVE." To cover the news, each class splits into groups to report on what's been happening around the school. Grades 2-5 used iPads, laptops, and shared Google Docs to collaborate with their classmates, do research, and write their script. Grades K-1 also write and perform their own lines. We then record in front a green screen and edit these videos together for our community's viewing pleasure. PLEASE ENJOY!
