Water Quality Testing

Participants will have the opportunity to conduct water quality analyses on samples that are relevant to their community and recieve feedback on the results.

Soil Health and Restoration

The workshop will include hands-on soil analysis and discussion of soil biota, as well as presentation of techniques for improving restoration planting success through use of native soils.

Mapping and Spatial Data

Summit attendees will have the chance to try out mapping tools and be introduced to current imagery and available technology through interactive sessions.

Plant Propagation

Practice techniques for propagating native plants from seeds and cuttings, and hear from researchers and other participants about what works in the field.

Cultural Knowledge Exchange

Meet other tribal environmental professionals from across the Southwest to exchange knowledge and share your traditions and experiences.

Grant Writing and Plan Development

Work with experienced grant writers to develop proposals or action plans tailored to your most pressing issues and priorities.
