The Project Development Subteam is tasked with selecting a suitable location of the coast of Oregon to develop a floating wind farm. This is done by reviewing the factors that will affect energy production costs, and will influence the type of wind turbine implemented into the farm.
The selection of a site to develop for wind energy will be influenced by many factors, including:
