Association of Science Technology Engineering and Math Outreach

Our Mission

ASTEMO is a student-led organization at Northern Arizona University that is dedicated to supporting and empowering students studying science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Our mission as a club is to create a collaborative community that connects students with their peers, mentors, and professionals in their fields. Whilst building this community we will also provide access to resources to these students that will enhance their success and readiness. We share information regarding opportunities for research, internships, and networking, through this we will foster a positive environment for skill development, collaboration, and growth as a student.

Who can join?

Anyone who is studying a subject related to science, technology, engineering, and math who is wanting to find new opportunities and a welcoming community.

Hi everyone! My name is Lilah and I am the president of ASTEMO this semster! I am a senior studying Biomedical Sciences with minors in Psychology and Spanish. Postgrad I will be pursuing a career in occupational therapy. Outside of ASTEMO you can find me playing tennis, volunteering, and traveling! I am excited to get this club started and provide support and build a community that I often needed throughout my undergrad experience.

Hi! My name is Grace and I am the secretary for ASTEMO this year! I am currently a junior studying biomedical sciences with a minor in art history. I am orginally from San Diego, California and am looking to going to medical school after undergrad!!
