Watch this video to learn how to find, filter, and review your schedule - there is a lot of valuable information in there!
If you submitted a Priority Enrollment profile, you may have already been enrolled into some classes by your Academic Advisor. Please review your schedule and bring questions to your Academic Advising appointment.
Pay less attention to the number of courses, and more attention to the total number of units (each class is worth a certain number of units).
12 units is the minimum to be considered a "full time" student - required for living on the Flagstaff Mountain campus and financial aid disbursement .
14-16 units is recommended to keep on track for a 4 year graduation timeline.
19 units is the maximum number of units allowed in a semester.
Students can only take up to 19 units in a Spring or Fall term - that is the maximum number of units allowed. However, if you want to attempt to take an excess of that load, you would need to apply for a "Unit Load Override Approval". This is only recommended for unique circumstances, and you must have at least a 3.2 cumulative GPA in order to be considered and approved. If you don't meet that benchmark, you can contact your academic advisor to discuss the reasons you are wanting to pursue this overload. Incoming students are not eligible for this override.
The Unit Load Override Approval application is found in Louie: Log into LOUIE and click on Registrar’s Office Forms; click on Add Unit Load Override; select your academic career; select a term; select class(es); and submit. You will receive an email confirming your form was submitted.
