What makes Our Classes Different?
This is not craft night.
Instruction is rooted in over 12 years of professional stained-glass and installation experience.
Students learn methods used in real architectural applications. Not shortcuts.
The goal is not just to complete a project, but to understand the structure behind it.
Our small-format workshops allow for personalized instruction in a focused studio environment.
Students learn:
Glass cutting and scoring techniques
attern preparation and layout
Foil and/or lead came application
Soldering fundamentals
Safe material handling and workspace setup
Design principles, including line, shape, and color interaction
Each class includes a structured project designed to reinforce core skills while creating a finished piece suitable for display. Each student leaves with a completed glass piece and the knowledge to continue practicing independently.
All materials are provided unless otherwise specified. No prior experience required for beginner sessions.
BEGINNER:
Introduction to tools, safety, glass cutting, foil method, and small suncatcher or panel projects.
INTERMEDIATE:
Multi-piece panels, lead came construction, framing, and structural planning.
ADVANCED:
Architectural-scale planning, complex pattern design, installation prep, reinforcement techniques, and professional workflow development.
Our children's stained glass classes introduce young artists to the fundamentals of glass design in a safe, structured, and encouraging environment.
Students will learn basic concepts such as line, shape, and color while creating their very own take-home glass or overlay projects.
Classes focus on creativity, craftsmanship, and confidence-building through hands-on instruction.
All materials are provided, and projects are designed to be age-appropriate while still teaching real artistic principles. Safety procedures are taught and reinforced throughout the class.
Each child leaves with a finished piece and a deeper appreciation for how light and color work together.
Private Instruction is available for students who want deeper technical training for individualized project development.
Private sessions are ideal for:
Artists developing a portfolio
Hobbyists ready to advance skill level

Individuals preparing for professional or commission work
Instruction can include pattern drafting, structural reinforcement techniques, installation considerations, and project planning.
